Store-bought dumplings (vegetable, pork, or chicken)
1 package (20–22)

Vegetable oil (for frying)
2–3 tablespoons (28–42 g)

【For the Chive Chili Garlic Oil】

Kadoya roasted sesame Oil
1/4 cup (54 g)

Chili garlic sauce
2 tablespoons (34 g)

Low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
2 tablespoons (30 g)

Honey
2 tablespoons (42 g)

Red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1–2 teaspoons (1–2 g)

Finely chopped fresh chives
1/4 cup (12 g)

Roasted peanuts(finely chopped)
1/4 cup (35 g)
Directions

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the dumplings and cook for 1–2 minutes until they float. Drain and set aside.

Place the sesame seeds in a shallow bowl. Roll each dumpling in the sesame seeds to lightly coat.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once shimmering, add the dumplings and cook for about 2–3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan.

Make the Chive Chili Garlic Oil: In a medium bowl, whisk together Kadoya Roasted Sesame Oil, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, chives, and chopped peanuts.

Serve the crispy sesame-crusted dumplings warm with the Chive Chili Garlic Oil for dipping.
