Ingredients (for 1 persons)
  • Chicken breast


  • Salt

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Sake if available

    1 teaspoon

  • Rice noodles


  • Granulated chicken broth

    1 tablespoon

  • Water


  • Fish sauce

    1 teaspoon

  • Sugar

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Red onion


  • Bean sprouts


  • Chopped green onion

    1 tablespoon

  • Cilantro

    Appropriate amount

  • Fried onions

    1 tablespoon

  • Lime wedge


  • Hot Sesame Oil

  • Rub the chicken breast with salt, sprinkle with sake, and let stand for 10 minutes. Slice the red onion. Put chicken and 400cc water in a pot and bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Remove chicken from heat and slice.

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook rice noodles as indicated.

  • Add granulated chicken broth to the boiled chicken soup from 1, add red onion and bean sprouts and cook lightly. Season with fish sauce and sugar.

  • Add boiled and drained rice noodles to 3 and serve. Sprinkle with fried onions and green onions, garnish with cilantro and lime wedges, and finish with a drizzle of Hot Sesame Oil.
