Leadership Message
Sesame may be just a tiny seed.
Yet within each seed lies enormous potential: to make food more delicious, enrich our lives, and help build a better future for people and society.
Since our founding in 1858, we at KADOYA have dedicated ourselves to sesame on Shodoshima Island, continually drawing out its value.
From selecting the finest sesame to roasting and pressing the seeds, we take every step with care to deliver consistent quality to tables everywhere. Our commitment to safety, reliability and great taste remains at the heart of everything we do, and always will.
But our history is about more than preserving tradition.
At a time when sesame oil was not yet widely used in households, we took on the challenge of bringing its delicious flavor to more people. Guided by that same spirit, KADOYA has continued to believe in the potential of sesame and create new value from it.
Sesame still holds new flavors and culinary possibilities the world has yet to discover. The potential to contribute to health, the environment, local communities and culture. And the power to bring people together across borders and food cultures.
Building on the expertise and quality we have cultivated over generations, we will continue to explore new flavors, new ways to enjoy sesame, and new possibilities beyond conventional uses and expectations.
From Shodoshima to Japan, and from Japan to the world.
Enriching our tables through sesame.
Addressing social challenges through sesame.
Opening up a better future through sesame.
Unlocking the Full Potential of Sesame. Giving More to the World.
This is the enduring mission of Kadoya Sesame Mills Incorporated.
Open Sesame, Open the Future.
